Chow mix female Puppy found

Puppy found by a homeless gentleman on I 10 and Studemont. He named her Lady

Puppy needs help. I’m helping a homeless gentleman who found a chow mix puppy (female; 4-7 months old) in the bayou right off I 10 and Studemont. She was drowning in the bayou and he rescued her about 3-4 weeks ago. I have taken pup to vet and she is in great condition but need to find her home. The man wants to keep her but the street isn’t the best environment for this pup. She was wearing a red collar but no ID tags on it. We thing someone from the Washington area could of lost her please help. If you have any info or know anyone who has lost their pup in this area please contact
